why do you bunch the psp and ps2 and ps3 together but leave nintendo systems out.

oh thats because it would look something like this.

playstation platforms 595k
Nintedo platforms 917k
Microsoft platform 170k

suddenly it doesn’t look so good.

so what you have here is 3 sony platforms (ps3, psp, ps2) out selling just the 1 platform from each other company

this is the only bit of “news” on this site that actually makes sense

sony overall has sold more consoles…… shame the ps3 is still not selling many
its got to be bad when your newest console being outsold by your inferior, 7 year old console

As Kotaku said, when your main competitor announces that their console dies randomly and they will need 1 billion to fix it and you do a price drop and you STILL can’t beat them-then you should just quit.

Heres some real stats for you…. I am just including next gen consoles, I will spare Sony the embarassment of combining all of Microsoft’s sales. I know Sony is infamous for stealig ideas and tweaking numbers to their favor, but this article is just sad.The part that makes me laughthe most is that the 360 has beat the PS3 for 9 MONTHS IN A ROW!

- Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 for the 9th month in a row, despite the PS3 â€œprice dropâ€
- Xbox 360 achieved #1 title for the month of July with â€œNCAA Football 08â€ (Electronic Arts Inc.); selling more copies than on PS2 and PS3 combined.
- Customer spending on Xbox 360 is 2:1 to PS3 and Wii
- Xbox 360 software sales increased 24 percent year-over-year
