Heavenly Sword? A Blockbuster? Dont you have to sell a lot of copies or at least be critically acclaimed to be considered a blockbuster? Im pretty sure heavenly Sword is neither. I guess you can argue till the cows come home about how the PS3 has better hardware than the 360, but you cant argue with the fact that the 360 has dozens of great games (most exclusives… Bioshock, Gears of War to name a few) that look better than anything on the PS3, and apparently its all accomplished with lesser hardware… And a lesser price. So I wouldnt gloat about hardware superiority unless uou have some software to back it up. Still waiting for that LAIR review….. lol
Also, I hate to say it, but everytime I hear Heavenly Sword, my thoughts refer to how this has to be the most cliched game in existance, from the generic Japanese name to the main character to the whole ‘find strongest weapon that no mortal has ever touched, blah blah blah, you haven’t seen this in God of War.’
Not only that, but why does Nariko (God, it’s just so weird to hear that name) look so arrogant and full-of-it every time she does her little ballerina spin on the battlefield or jumping off cliffs? I’m surprised that all those swordsmen, shielded swordsmen, bowmen, and ninjas couldn’t kill her.

I like PS but cmon what the hell is all the hate on 360 why don’t you guys just quit bashing it and focus on taking the wii which is outselling it 3 to 1
i have no idea how this makes the 360 “dead” in the least bit.
If I recall correctly the 360 was outselling the ps3 everywhare exept japan, and seeing as how europe is not part of japan, that would mean that the ps3 is moving less units in japan.
Without all this pointless console bashing, this would actually be a good deal.
Here’s an idea for you. Try to make a news post WITHOUT dissing the competition. Let your product stand on it’s own merits. Do you think you could do that? Sony might actually maintain some respect if they(and their partners) could go five minutes without trying to belittle their competition.
No the PS3 and the Wii outsell the 360 everywere in the WORLD exept North America ok. now its true the 360 have several games that are not on the ps3 but we all know that some of the games are coming (Deadrising,Lostplanet) so you guys know that overtime the 360 is going to go Dreamcast on us. Thats why those companys are putting the games on the ps3
And for Heavenly sword you guys know the game is going to be BIG I hope is going to be the next God Of War (it look and play like it ) so you 360 funboys go buy a ps3.

Heavenly Sword does NOT play like God of War.
For one part, there’s no block button. In order to block, you have to… stand still and press nothing. With that said, if someone begins to attack you while you’re in the middle of a combo, prepare to lose some health.
Not only that, but the active button presses are insanely quick; you literally have about half a second to push the button before your combo fails. Basically, you have to memorize the setup and hope you can execute it foresightedly several attempts later.
Also, note that Heavenly Sword only has four enemies when God of War has… I can’t remember; there were a helluva lot, but it’s really disappointing that a ‘AAA blockbuster title’ can’t manage more than four enemies and six hours of gameplay.
The only similarities there are between Heavenly Sword and God of War is that Team Ninja decided to give the main character chain swords. That’s all. Aside from that, there’s more effort in the cutscenes than the gameplay, so to call this game the next God of War is pretty sad.

You knew that this was going downhill when he listed s 4 hour glorified demo as a AAA game.
Last I checked, a AAA games is supposed to be 90 and up. the ps3 has only 1 of these, and it is on the 360. The 360 has 5.
So it’s not even out yet and it’s killed the Wii and 360 in Europe?
Ya know… I’m not even going to be a pest, what can I really say at this point? I mean you must really like shooting yourself in the foot.
You all need to stop spreading rumors and stop diluting yourself. There has been nothing confirmed about a Lost Planet 2 or a Dead Rising 2, so you cant pretend a game that does not exist is coming to the PS3.
Here in South Africa we will also be getting this special instead of a price cut but ours will be Comprising of a PS3, Motorstorm, Resistance Fall Of Man and two Six Axis controllers for R6599 witch is about $911.760 or €667.204
I prefer this bundle of games to Heavenly Sword and F1 Championship Edition but as most would prefer to have a price cut

The PS3 isn’t outselling the 360 anywhere but in Japan. I don’t know where you got your statistics (here, probably) but they are wrong.
The 360 isn’t going to go “Dreamcast” on us because it actually has good exclusive games, an excellent online service, and is being pushed and supported by a company that could eat Sony whole.

Dude, I live in the UK and they can’t give away the PS3 for free. Nobody is buying it. Nobody is buying Heavenly Sword and Motorstorm because those games are both total ass. So they put them into a bundle that NOBODY IS FUCKING BUYING BECAUSE CONSUMERS WON’T BUY THE ASS GAMES SEPARATELY.
I am a former Sony fanboy but the PS3 turned me off. You guys embarrass me, you are a shame to Sony gamers everywhere.

I bought the PS3 for the few exclusives that won’t show up on the 360 such as Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Heavenly Sword, Resistance and the future release of LittleBigPlanet. THAT IS ALL!
