MS Drums Up Dwindling Halo 3 Interest On Back of Playstation Brand

In our many years as gaming journalists we’ve never seen something quite like this.We’d heard reports that this was happening in Blockbusters throughout the UK (thanks readers) but we didn’t believe it until we saw it with our own eyes.With Playstation sales and brand awareness at an all time high, MS is using Playstation 3 kiosks to promote Halo 3.

This move makes sense when considering the dwindling interest in the Halo franchise especially so with Halo 2 barely managing to outsell Halo 1 on a userbase almost twice as large.

Could this be the last desperate throw of the dice before MS puts the Halo series to bed once and for all?
