Can Gamespot’s upcoming Halo 3 review be trusted?
I think this picture says it all… Why even bother with content? They might as well redirect their site to Halo3.com. The scary part is this is but one of many ad-covered sites that will release their reviews of Halo 3 in the next coming weeks. I urge everyone to keep their eye on SDF for our unbiased review of Halo 3 which will be posted near the Halo 3 launch.

You dont have any credibility with anyone with an IQ of over 50, so dont bother, if you wanted to maintain any sort of credibility you should have gave Lair a bad review.
Ahhhhh Halo envy! Every PS3 fanboy must be coming down with a case of it and it will only get worse as 9/25 approaches. If the PS3 actually had a good friggin game, maybe they would have similar advertising. Incidentally, a friend of mine was telling me that the PS3 is powerful enough to emulate the Wii, with some trickery to get the wiiiiiimotes working properly. That would be so awesome – you’d have a console backwards-compatible with every important system of the last generation.
Halo 3 will receive a 5/10 from SDF, just like Bioshock (even though he never played through Bioshock lol).
Why are you guys questioning fair reviews when you yourselves don’t review any games fairly? Lair was not a 10. Bioshock will be up for game of the year and it is NOT a 5.

I get a kick out of going back to the very beginning of this shitty web site and seeing how when the creator would post lame ass PS3 news about another firmware update for the PS3 or some shit about a PSP game, nobody would leave a comment. Then one day they decide to create a fake review on BioShock and they get nearly 200 responses. Since then everything has been a joke aimed at the 360. Hey, in the end it entertains me and I get to trash Sony in the process. The funny part is that the things said here in jest are not too far off what a true sony fanboy would say.
Since when do this site do unbaised reviews? Stick with what your good at. lol And Im pretty sure the HALO 3 reivews will be excellent across the board, so if you choose not to believe Gamespots review, look at one of the hundred other critics that im sure are going to give it a spectacular review. I’m guessing (using your review of Bioshock as a basis) that HALO 3 is going to get a 4 out of 10… Its just a guess. I look forward to seeing it and laughing.

This game is horrible. The 360 is being pushed to it’s limits and since it’s not on blu-ray and using the awesome power of CELL it fails on all levels. Now the multiplayer is also equally horrible if not more so. The online is laggy and only 8 ppl get to play unlike Warhawks 32 player online game. 1/10.

Shit I don’t even have to play it cause I can already tell you that the average Halo 3 score will be a 9 out of 10. I wonder what OnionB will be playing on his spectacular PS3 while I’m fragging bitches and ho’s. Halo 3 is going to get a lot of GOTY! reviews, if they’re biased or not is open for discussion. It’s not the first time it happened and Halo 3 might be the most important game ever to be released.

As hilarious as this site is for winding up the Xbox fanboys (and I’m a 360 owner myself and very proud of it), it really is quite sad how many people cream themselves over the utter averageness that is the Halo franchise. They’re decent enough games, but the hype and blinkered “zomg best game evar!11″ stuff is just plain dumb.

you expect to be trusted as unbiased, yet you give Bioshock (10 out of 10 in what? 7 no 15 different reviews) a 5. Halo possibly the biggest game in the country deserves no lower than an 8. also play the game (you need a 360 to do that) before reviewing it and giving it a shitty review base on the fact that 360 doesnt use blue ray. (blue ray is your biggest weapon which is sad, especially when you base games on its graphics)

I recall seeing an ad exactly like that for LAIR, which they reviewed a 4.5 out of 10.
Gamespot is a business. If you’re not a subscriber, then those parts of the page are sold off as advertisements basically to the highest bidder, who in this case was Mountain Dew.
Gamespot doesn’t get to pick and choose which game they want in the ad. Obviously they can set guidelines and rules, but the ultimate specific content is up to the ad-provider.

I doubt it matters now but Gamespots review department and the AD department are two separate buildings that have nothing to do with each other. But if you go on with logic like that then you should look at their webiste now. They got ad’s of Heavenly Sword up. Does that mean that the review of Heavenly Sword is baised too? Of course not. Because its a PS3 game right? If I should go further on the fact that they are unbaised then look at this. Remember that game Hour of Victory? They advertised that game for about two weeks before the review and ya know what it got? A FREAKING 2!!! If you don’t have anything to say, don’t say anything at all.
They have the same thing for Heavenly Sword and other PS3 games, WTF are you guys smoking….
