Halo Gamer Disgusted, Sells Advance Copy on eBay
Given all the useless, unwanted junk that shows up on eBay, it was only a matter of time before Halo 3 made its way there. A desperate gamer by the name of “aaron9198″ apparently obtained a leaked copy of the game, and after rifling through it, it seems he was so disappointed that he realized the necessity of recouping his investment by pawning the game off on eBay.
It’ll be interesting if SDF share his sentiment when we launch our review later on this month.

Ok, I’ve finally relaized why this site exists. I’ve heard other users complain that this site is a hoax, and its just put here to piss off xbox users. I’ve also heard its a joke site, created by 360 fanboys. But now I’m pretty sure that its somewhere in between. I think this site is a pardoy of all those lame “news sites” out there defending the PS3, and this site decided to take it to the next level and create completely absurd articles to poke fun of these other sites. Although it seems to have gone awry because its pissing off all the xbox fans…. I’ve learned my lesson. I just read the articles and laugh, knowing that theres no way anyone is supposed to believe these articles.

Well, it makes sense if you think about it from Sony’s point of view. Lesser numbers mean more history! If one person buys a PS3, that means it’s the biggest hit, and if one person sells Halo 3, that means it flops.
Sony has to find that silver lining somewhere.

A few months ago, I was on eBay, and checking out prices for a PS3. It had “$600, Buy Now or Best Offer.”
So I offered $20.
It was immediately declined, but I later got an email saying the seller had reconsidered my offer. I didn’t take it up because, in reality, I was joking. (besides, the email was probably automatically sent when the seller didn’t get any buyers).
I think this website would be even better if anyone were able to post on the main page. Then I could tell the world of Bill Gates’s demise and then post that he’s that he’s been seen with 2Pac and Biggie.

And I find it odd that he refers to the “recently exposed…hardware breakdowns” of the Xbox 360 when it’s been a WELL KNOWN FACT since about the day the 360 came out.
I realize this is an odd way to argue this point, but look, it’s not like Microsoft has been hiding the fact that they put too much power into the Box without thinking about how to cool the damn thing. Or that their systems just happen to fail more than the last generation of systems did. Everybody knows, and we’re still buying the 360.
As far as PS3′s Blue Ray gamble paying off “eventually”…we’ll see about that when “eventually” comes around. By the way, has sony decided what day that will be?

It’s not the sales of PS3s that gets me. The Xbox still leads it the US. 6 mil 360s, 4 mil Wiis, 2 mil PS3s. Worldwide, however, there are 10 mil 360s & Wiis, and 5 mil PS3s. That’s about where the 360 was last year. And PS3 sales are starting to pick up (I’ve yet to see shortages).
It’s all the money Sony’s losing, $250 off ever 60 gig they sell. No telling how bad the 80 gig is. And Sony does have bigger fish to fry, considering their whole electronics empire. If they don’t make the profits they’re hoping on in the next 2 years, they’re not going to stick to games like Sega. They’ll shut down SCE and SCEA, sell their studios and go back to the appliances that make them money.
