Dirt declared better on the PS3 than the Xbox 360.
It’s about time that multiplatform developers took advantage of the power of the CELL and Blu-ray. In the inferior Xbox 360 version, Dirt was said to have a lot of frame rate issues that made it drop well below the advertised 30 frames per second. With the technological break through that is Cell, Codemaster version was graphically superior with no noticeable hitches in frame rate. The PS3 version also showed a major improvement in sound quality over the Xbox 360 version possibly due to the superior audio capabilities in the PS3. With the one year head start for the Xbox 360, one might think that the Xbox 360 port would be better but this goes to show the true power of the PS3 and is a sign of things to come.

Played both versions, the 360 one kicked the shit outta the PS3.
What source did they make up for this article? Even if it is a reputable source (Which I doubt knowing how this site works), this would be the first port that actually runs better on the PS3. Every other game ported to the PS3 was designed for the 360 and simply oved over to the PS3. No one designs games for the PS3 and ports them to the 360. Thats why 99% of the ported games blow on the PS3. Maybe if your “superior” machine had more than 256 MB of system memory to work with, developers would try alittle harder to design a decent port for the PS3.

Those are based on the demos, and after reading all the captions on the screenshots, its only saying the PS3 looks darker, has less realistic grass and trees and a bad draw distance (with people in the stands) I guess I shouldnt be surprised because it was on SDF and not a legit site, but cant you at least make a up a review or soemthing to prove your point?
I’m hearing that the PS3 version of Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights will also be superior to the 360 port. Viva PS3!
IGN must not think that the ps3 version of dirt is that much better since they gave both versions the same score, but at least you get a slightly better game after having to wait two months after 360 players got it
Everytime the PS3 can make the 360 games look better but they dont do it because they have to make the games look almost equal to each other if you see games that are not Multi-platforms like Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Heavenly Sword them you see the difference in quality so i think the 360 is holding the Games back because we can get the games that we love to look better but because we get them Multi-platforms they just cant make one look better them the other.
PS3UP, you are a god damn retard. Let me explain why.
1. Gears of War. The two games you mention come nowhere close to Gears graphically and it came out almost a year ago.
2. Heavenly Sword is 5 hours long including the cutscenes(which make up about 1/3 of the game) and has ZERO multiplayer. That gives you about 3.5 hours of gaming for $60. That’s not value in my book. If you would rather watch movies than play games why not buy 3 shiny new Blurayzzzz, you’ll get way more entertainment than you will out of this garbage.
3. NGS looked better, played better, and had better sound on the original Xbox. PS3 got a sloppy 3 year old port and we get the superior Xbox 360 version of NG2 while you guys are cleaning up sloppy seconds on that old whore we through out years ago.
4. Take a bath with your PS3. Not only can you screw it, the water will unlock the true potential of the Cell.

Gears of War look good but i finish the game in one night and since the games is only 8 hours long and No the graphics are BETTER on Heavenly Sword them Gears of War, For a Console that is been out for over a year the games are not the graphically impressive, The PS3 is getting there first games from companys, And the games are allready better looking, you dont believe me Compare Ninja Gaiden Sigma to the new Ninja gaiden 2 for the 360, Sigma look better.

Regardless of how long it took you to beat GOW, its still a longer game than Heavenly Sword, you can go back and enjoy it Co-Op with a friend (its better that way) and its got great Multiplayer especially online. Heavenly Sword is a game that will take the average gamer 5-8 hours to beat and chances are you will never touch it again, no co-op and no multiplayer. Where is the lasting value of the game? Oh and if you honestly think that HS has better graphics than GOW, then you my friend are smoking Crack and I suggest you lay off it because its highly addictive and become a rather expensive habit. .. your talking about ports guys, it has nothing to do with sony at all, its the devs, the devs wont spend the time to make it look better on ps3, and its true ps3 is teh strongest console(that doesnt make it the best) its been proven over and over again. Porting is all the devs fault, madden for example runs at 30fps on 360 but not on ps3. but yet ps3 can do 60fps on other games.. its just ports dont expect it to be the same
