BBC: Halo 3’s Graphics Suck So We’ll Use Killzone 2 Video Instead
In a recent news report on Halo 3, the BBC just didn’t think MS’ underpowered console and the Halo 3 game lived up to the ‘next gen’ monicker and so promptly used some realtime Killzone 2 footage from E3 2007.See for yourselves:
If this isn’t confirmation that Halo 3’s graphics are no better than Halo 2’s in HD then we don’t know what is.Maybe MS should have thrown another $50M @ Bungie or better still let them develop for the PS3 supercomputer to really achieve their next gen vision for Halo.

Thats very funny but I do hope people relies that its Killzone and don’t actually think its Halo 3, Also the BBC should really stick to news that matters and not try to tell the world video games are the Devil, dumb asses cant even do that right.

I think this video speaks more towards how much Killzone is similar to Halo and how relatively unknown it is. I’m sure they were looking through their footage and thought… space marines.. must be Halo footage..
This site is getting less and less funny. It’s too predictable… I don’t even have to read their reviews to know exactly what they would say… PS3 games get a 10/10 for their powerful graphics and because they’re on a blu-ray disk. Xbox games get bad scores because theyre ugly and laggy… Boring

sure it only has four guns but that avanced 3-d hd action is sooo realistic about how the soldier holds it, it just makes people hard looking at it
suure all enemies look the same but they are drawn with eighty gajillion polygons oh NEXT GEN GRAPHYKZ
sure there are only two maps in multiplayer and a grand total of 40 people worldwide playing them but man, when someone shoots you and yells in a nasally geeky voice, you will hear it through an expensive bluetooth headset, just reminding you that instead of playing a good game you are watching a shitty hd movie

Did anyone notice all those unsold PlayStation 3’s stacked up nice an neat, with not a soul around them. I wonder though if that was real or if the killzone footage was spliced in? Seemed rather odd how the Halo 3 footage was playing and then a blur effect and then holy shit its killzone 2.

This is a very good effort at trying for forgiveness over the unfunny halo 3 review article.
taking a report that is glowingly good towards halo 3 and the xbox 360, and pointing to a stupid technical error (assuming it’s real) as a way to supposedly dig at Halo 3 – that’s good satire – and worlds better than the unfunny Halo 3 review.
A+ for making up for that….

The BBC reporter who did the piece has apologised for the error. He first did this on his Facebook page and then today has written an explanation of how the cock-up happened.

This videa doesnt prove anything on the “Halo 3 graphics suck” argument. all it proves is that the news doesnt know ANYTHING about games or gaming culture, even the internet eludes their knowledge of understanding. Hell, you remember the pokemon fad a decade back, where all the adults pronounced it poke-man, even though there isnt an a to be found in the name.
but i digress. If you see any story about any game on the news, its bound to have at least 10 errors or opinions about it that project the wrong image. Now days if any story involves a video game they compare it to the Wii, and if its family friendly or not, like in this story.
if you really want to prove that halo 3 graphics suck so much, prove to me and the gaming community at large that killzone 2 is really a “Halo killer” in all aspects, since we all know the last one was….(sarcasm)

SDF, let me first say, Hahahahahahaha. I couldn’t get one page of your site down without laughing at how wrong and “unbiased” some of your posts are. This one, though, I had to comment on.
They did not use Killzone “live action” clips to advertise Halo 3. They used the clip to point out a fact that video games are a big part of the entertainment industry while using Halo3 as the main game.
However, lets not forget that some brainiac at SCEA.com used PGR3 shots to advertise for Gran Turismo HD (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6164738.html). Now that takes a genius to fess up that their simulation game cannot compare to an arcade game.
