Ye it's quite a difficult book to read. I can imagine it's not everyone's cup of tea. But there's pages with 5 stories going on and keeping track of everything is really cool. Especially because the stories intertwine in a way.

@marnick:
::looks at wiki:: Hmm, I don't think I would like it. Not my cup of tea. But thank you for telling me. And Dr. Who would like his technology back.

@InfraredChimera
::looks at wiki....again:: Double Gee! I can't stand those *RACISM ARE BAD* stories. They always paint characters in Black & White strokes.

Maybe it's better then I imagine it to be, but I'm a fantasy guy, so I'm Not going to be reading it any time soon. But Thanks anyway.

As for myself:

I like books that:

1. That talks about ideas, and show both sides of the story. (H. G. Wells, Frank Herbert)

2. Talks about Sci-Fi as if it really *could* happen. (H. G. Wells)

3. Shows us worlds beyond your imagination (L. Frank Baum's Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz(But there is some big parts I don't like at all))

But if I had to pick one, (that isn't Dune) then The Time Machine would be it. It makes me feel like I could really be there with the Morlocks and all.

ahem, I like books. I read mostly fantasy, some sci-fi. I like the dragonlance series, r.a. salvatore. Ed greenwood. I have never tried anything "real" or historical. I keep it fake it's better that way.

well actually, To Kill A Mockingbird was a book that rocked me to my core though. So I would actually say Dantes Inferno was the most interesting, while To Kill a Mockingbird was the best.

The best book I've got my hands on thus far is House of Leaves. Incredibly good book and outstanding use of layout options. It's one of the books I try to read at least once every 2 years or so.

@zoar

I have always liked the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy books and well try to read them once a year. Otherwise its some Tom Clancy (which The Hunt for Red October movie got me interested in his work, but I was only 11 at the time when it was released in theaters), a little Stephen King and that does it for fiction.
I do like local history and world history as well, but I have gotten into politics quite a bit in the last 5-6 years of my life, so I do read a quite a bit about that as well (from both republicans and democrats, as knowing both sides of the issue is whats needed to make a informed opinion).
Believe it or not the best book that I have ever read (albeit hard to understand, but so worth it) was Dantes Inferno. It's such a interesting read that it stuck with me for some reason, but its such a experience that noone can recreate.

He is not able to kz2 anymore so he moves on to crack induced halucinations. I guess they are more realistic than kz2 expectations.
