Well my other awesome comments were moderated away, so screw it. Erik you are getting older, your taste in games is getting stale. Your eyes are probably failing you, hard to stare at a screen for long times? Did you use the auger gun in resistance? What about that gun that shot tags out to bend your shots, Come on those guns are innovative as hell. The gravity gun? That gun sucks you can’t even see where you are going when you are holding something. Old gabe said “hey lets make a gun that picks things up and throws it!” That’s some gay snit right there. I heard the new barbie riding game has pink rainbow horses maybe that would be more your style.

I really couldn’t bring myself to play past the third level of Resistance with or without the guns. And really as far as guns go I have more fun with the Half-Life series. There is a challenge I’ve seen posted that requires the use of nothing but the gravity gun (save for a few minor exceptions) after you get it in Half-Life 2.

even though Resistance doesn’t do anything new, at least the guns are quite fun to use with there different firing modes.

And I would have to agree with you. It feels just so right to play it, and to rediscover why I LOVED it when I was growing up just brings a smile to my face.
The only complaint I have with it (big shocker) is Seth. That dude is so incredably cheap, it ain’t even funny. Shit he blocks unblockable attacks, can break out of a combo that you’re in against him, can perform focus attacks without really no charge time, and his ultra finish combo is no avoiding it. I get that he is the last boss, and he should put up a decent challenge, but to be really cheap isn’t fun, its more annoying than anything.
