SDF Exclusive: Brand new God of War 3 screens
In case you are wondering, this is for the Playstation 3, NOT a prototype of a Playstation 4 game. I had to double check this with my sources at Sony. This is a generational leap folks. We haven’t seen graphics like this since Killzone 2.

By the way, for comparison’s sake, the best looking action title on 360, Ninja Gaiden 2, only runs at 585p and 30FPS. God of War 3 will run at 1080p and 60FPS.

Where did you get that info? As far as i know it’s running 720p with locked 30fps.

2) There is nothing so impressive about this game that would make one even ponder that it is a PS4 game.
3) Why can’t the PS3 fantards think of anything except graphics?

Since when is Ninja Gaiden 2 the best looking action game on the 360? Gears of War, Lost Planet, Soul Calibur, Assassin’s Creed, and GTA4 might have something to say about that. Unless any of those that are also on the PS3 don’t count. In which case, Gears 2 still looks better than anything I have seen on the PS3.

I’m not sure why people are so excited about the trailer being in-game footage. No motion blur (at all), no depth of field, muted color. Is it 2004 again?

Yeah, I thought the year of the PS3 was the year when all their big system selling titles were coming out? You know, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, Ratchet and Clank, GT5: Prologue, and MGS4? No? Oh, I misunderstood. I was about to say…sure didn’t seem to help all that much, but whew! At least I can look forward to GoW3!
Hmmmm… Forgive me for being a graphics whore (and yet not a PS3 fan… how ironic) but I’m yet to see any screenshots of this that actually ARE in 1080p. The only 1920×1080 images I’ve seen from it are upscaled, easy enough to tell thanks to the blurring and interpolation methods used to make a low-res image bigger.
I think I’ll go back to actual HD on a computer, with a mouse, keyboard, and 4GHz quad-core that pisses all over Cell. And twin nVidia 8800′s, each of which piss all over RSX. XBox fans, don’t feel lucky here. That thing is crushed beneath the might of PC too.
