I find it amazing how the DS just fucking sells like gangbusters each month, also I wonder how many of those are DSi’s and how many are lites. But what got me wondering is that the Wii dropped off quite a bit from last months sales compared to this months, I’m wondering if the Wii is starting to hit its peak and we will finally start to see sales of it get trumped by the 360 or even the PS3.
Now looking at what games sold can be taken in a different way, sure Wii software holds the most spots in the top ten, BUT there are NO 3rd party software Wii titles in the top ten. So once again nintendo is cleaning up on hardware and software but there 3rd parties are getting fucked even if they release good games but they just don’t sell.
Now if Sony saw a bump in PS2 sales from a $30 price drop, wouldn’t you think they would do a substantial price drop for the PS3? I would think they would but for some reason Sony is being allergic to either making money or grow its installed base this console cycle.

The looks of the system are a rather subjective thing. I’m not much one for the PS3′s George Foreman Grill design. I you are a George Foreman Grill fan, then it stands to reason that you would like the PS3′s looks.
@Infrared: it’s not easy to compete with nintendo’s near-perfect games on their own system when you’re third party. Compare with ps3′s generally subpar games (although they don’t sell either) or 360′s massive support for superior third party games and it’s clear where the difference comes from.

As far as PS3′s “subpar games” (which is totally subjective) I tend to like the exclusives on the PS3 more than 360′s, but the 360 gets my multiplatform dollars when it comes to FPS’s.

If you plan on getting the new Batman game coming out you would probably be best off getting the PS3 version. That is for extra content purposes only. As far as I know the 360 isn’t offering anything like the PS3 is for that game.
Beyond that I have difficulty seeing what exclusives on the PS3 you would be referring to. After MGS4 and LBP I really can’t think of any PS3 exclusives worth any note.

Well of course I’m going to say KZ2, but besides that I do enjoy racing games so Motorstorm 1 and 2 are in the mix. I do enjoy some Socom every once in awhile, Uncharted was a good game I quite enjoyed (it did have its problems, not going to deny that). Also Rachet and Clank for good measure.
While I know that you will turn your nose up at them, but too me (most importantly) I rather enjoy and have fun with.
My biggest(among many many others) beef with KZ2 is just how generic it looks. Now mind you I’ve said I don’t give a shit about the graphics of a game, but that is only partly true. I care about the artistic style of the game. Rather what you do with the graphics rather than how advanced they are. Ergo I like the look of they destroyed capital wasteland of Fallout 3 or the deteriorating european countryside of Half-Life 2 as far as looks over Killzone 2. That is despite Killzone 2 having, obviously, superior graphics in manners of technology.
As far as Uncharted goes. Well really the gunfights became just annoying for me. Shooting at nondescript spaniards that you rarely ever see no more of than a knee poking around a corner while using a cover system that just seemed “off” to me. The puzzles and jumping around the scenic vistas was fun. But not fun enough when broken up by tedious gun fights.
As far as motorstorm goes. Well I’ve not played a racing game since F-Zero, on the SNES, when it first came out.
As far as Ratchet and Clank, well the original is still on my buy list for the PS2. After I play the games in order I may eventually get to the PS3 titles.

Also just read that the PS3 version of Fallout 3 WILL be getting the DLC as well starting at the end of June.
But that not all; PC, 360 and PS3 will be getting 2 more DLC packs as well. There called Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta, but the PS3 versions of the new DLC won’t be out untill after the first 3 DLC packs are out on the PSN. Also a GOTY edition is planned also.

I was about to stop you from saying the PS2 has the best lineup, but then I saw you saved yourself with my all-time favorite, the SNES. No one can hold a candle to the awesomeness that was the the 16-bit gaming god. Mine is still regularly used. I just recently started up a new game of Illusions of Gaia.

In belgium we’ll only be able to get the dutch localized version of InFamous, as in, no english voices. I was actually quite impressed with InFamous but being violated by blu-ray’s lack of space so it can’t even include english voices is a bridge too far. I hate playing games in dutch because it just sounds aweful. I am quite sure that many gamers will not buy this game due to localization issues.

I’m going to play it out of curiosity, but I still feel this sequel is not needed for Bioshock at all. The first one wrapped up the story quite nicely and it was a refreshing new atmosphere with solid gameplay. I just feel BS2 is kinda of a cash in on a steller game and it would be a shame if its just kinda “meh” and taints the memories of the first game.

Well mostly I am curious to what the “society” and landscape of Rapture will look like after ten years time. I mean the place was pretty much falling apart even though it was not very long after the Ryan/Fontaine war at all. For what was mostly total devastation to be able to go another 10 years raises some eyebrows with me.

Can’t argue with the fact it will be interesting to see what has happened to Rapture after 10 years after the events of the first game. The guy who designed Fort Frolic area of the game is the lead on BS2, so it might actually be in very capable hands, but I still have my reservations about it.
I also forgot this but I hope to hell we hear what Ken Levine’s next game is at E3, i swear that between his games and Warren Specters games I haven’t played anything that has stuck with me more than there games.
Sander Cohen capable hands? Well maybe. I suppose his fixation with revenge could have an unintended effect of getting rid of some of the undesirables. And without Ryan pumping pheromones into the air people might be able to regain some level of sanity.
One thing I’m not looking forward to though is how you have to adopt and protect the Little Sisters. I had trouble enough keeping the little ankle biters alive when you had to watch over them in the end of the first game. Escort missions in games are always a bitch.
On a side note: The demo for InFamous seems to be live on PSN now.
Okay I just started to play InFamous right now. It is a bit overwhelming at first I must admit. The amount of things you can climb, and grip onto, jump onto, jump on from. Then even with only a few powers unlocked the amount of things you can pull off while blending ranged and melee together is pretty awesome.
That punk from Ass-asin’s Creed has NOTHING on cole. I was amused that after a fight with all the injured/dying civilians about you can either finish them off by draining them to heal yourself. Or use some power of your own to heal them.

Yeah, being evil does seem to give you some more manners in which to keep you charged up. I wonder what drawbacks it has though? Maybe the general populace makes things more difficult on you? I’m disappointed that my gigablades bonus doesn’t work with the demo.
Also, I hate the suicide bombers really and fully and with all of my miserable heart.
I’m looking forward to BS2 but frankly, Bioshock was a finished game and didn’t really have anything to add anymore. There aren’t any mentioned characters of importance alive anymore so it’ll be a completely new setting as far as rivalries and plotlines go.
I sincerely hope that BS2 will become a (timed) exclusive for the 360. At least we’ll have the better grahpics without being forced to cut corners to fit on the ps3′s inferior hardware.

Well although you can’t deny the power of the evil scatter grenade, really I prefer the good sticky grenade. You can hurl it at someone, then after it sticks shockwave him back into a group of enemies and take them all out. And speaking of shockwave I like the good shockwave over the evil. The extra damage from the evil one is nice, but the slow fall from the good gives you some degree of crowd control.
When playing I had one of my moments when I saw the opportunity to do something amazingly stupid. For example in the original Half-Life when you are in a warehouse full of missles I couldn’t stop myself from saving the game, then beating on a missle with my crowbar. In InFamous I saw a fountain of water, wondering just how the human generator Cole would react to one of nature’s best conductors. And I think you know how that turned out.

Wouldn’t the electricity just discharge into the underground, not harming anyone close? As long as sufficient conductivity is present, adding electricity to a pool of water won’t magically shock everyone else in the pool. As the discharge will follow the path of least resistance it will go straight to the core of the earth instead of pass through someones body…
I might be wrong, but then again I DID pass at my safety with electricity exams last year.

Would you want to drop a toaster into a bathtub you are bathing in? I know I wouldn’t. And bear in mind that only so much is going to be able to be able to pass into the earth at a given time. If you add a toaster to a swimming pool it won’t kill everyone, in the pool, due to the fact it will have made it’s way to the earth before it could travel out that far. But if a major power line fell into a swimming pool, well things could be a little different there now wouldn’t it?
Cole isn’t packing the juice of a toaster. So if he is standing in a puddle about two inches deep and about six feet across, and he is putting out as much electrcity as a city block, do you think that badness could ensue?
If there is anything you want to dispute about InFamous then dispute Cole’s ability to surf across power lines which likely shouldn’t bear his weight quite so well.

I’m fully aware that electricity does follow certain rules, but asides that, we are talking about a comicesque type of game.
Sure you might know that the tricks might be physically impossible, but thats what suspension of disbelief is. Would you go into a Star Wars film thinking its a accurate portrayal of space combat?
So basically you’re nitpicking, and if thats the case then go after other forms of media as well where a hero or villian uses electricity as a weapon.
There are rules that the game does break, but in this instance I don’t really think that is the case. Yeah, if you dropped an item like a toaster in a swimming pool it wouldn’t kill everyone or maybe even anyone. But if you dropped the same toaster in a bathtub, sans breaker switches, that is one dead dude. With a guy who has enough juice to blow up a truck with a bolt summoned from the heavens, I think if he is standing in a puddle it MIGHT not be a good idea to stand in it with him.
There’s a clear difference between someone engulfed in water, which actually turns him into part of the conductor, or someone standing in a puddle, probably wearing insulated combat boots.
The good thing about Star Wars physics is that they make sense within the Star Wars framework. Electricity moving away from the ground potential doesn’t really make sense though, in whatever framework.

So if Star Wars physics make sense within its own framework, then who is to say that the inFamous universe is false. For whatever reason you got a grudge against the game already. Sure Cole had a bomb (or something) he got caught in the middle of and technically should have died, but he didn’t.
Shit Rogue can fly in the X-men comics for no appearant reason, but we accept it anyways. And for whatever reason the normal laws of electricity can be manipulated by Cole, remember sometimes realism doesn’t translate into fun and that the rules have to be bent to work withing the framework for the game.
I don’t hold any grudges against InFamous, if anything I’d love to play the game. However as an electronics engineer I don’t usually think about the behaviour of electricity, I just know what the correct results are. This makes it a bit more difficult for me to manipulate electricity in games (also in Bioshock, but that game got a 5/10 here so it’s probably just me who thought the game brilliant otherwise)

I have to agree with Erik on this one, Cole is basically a walking lightning bolt with a car battery for a heart. Hell one of the ways you heal/recharge is to draw electricity from a transformer or a electrified rail. So in all aspects if Cole was in a puddle and I was near it, I sure as shit wouldn’t take my chances by walking into that puddle, that would be just stupid.

I’m not sure if you bought the game today (I did), but basically he tried to hold one of Zeke’s revolvers and all of the rounds exploded at once. You guys are both right, Cole wouldn’t kill someone if they are standing with him in a puddle, but he where to zap it then he would kill (or seriously injur) anyone standing in the puddle (since water is a good conducter) and if they are in a deep puddle of water (above the ankles), then its safe to say that person is fucked. Since electricity or current travels along the top of the water not below it, so if the puddle is shallow and you are wearing rubber combat boots chances are if Cole zaps it nothing will happen, but if you’re up to your knees then I would say your prayers.

What marnick is saying is this, the bolt will travel from tree-to person- to iron bar. Not tree-person-iron bar-back to person. The reasoning is that electricity finds the path of least resistance and takes that and since it went from tree-human-iron bar it found the path of least resistance.
Now if your dumb enough to be in a field and standing by a metel bar sticking out of the ground, then I suggest you get your ass away from that bar and hunker down to the ground. And if you get stuck in your car then stay in the car during a lightning heavy storm.

Why would that lightning arc out of the iron bar if it can go down to the ground potential with about 100 times less resistance if it stays in the bar? An iron bar has a resistance of less than 10 ohm. A human, around 2000 ohm. Unless you can give some scientific explanation for your arcing other than “massive arc out of piddly little iron bar” I rest my case.

I have gotten what you have said in previous posts, no problem. But after starting to think about how Cole uses electricity he may not or even come close to that of a lightning bolt. See I think the way the game is setup is this, he can only manipulate electricity but he cannot produce it from within himself, so therefore he’s only a conduit not a generator.
So if Cole (in theory) wanted to take a dip into a large body of water, all he could do is exhaust all the “excess” electricity and then go for a swim. But I think I’m starting to nerd out about this game and character, but damn its a fun game.

First off I don’t think that Cole could exhaust all of his power. I think that he IS a generator, but with the capacity to absorb beyond what his body naturally produces. Hence why he can pull of many tricks like zapping people, hovering, and making a shield of pure energy without draining his energy reserves.
Secondly if he DID manage to completely drain himself I’m fairly sure he would DIE. By merely walking into a blacked out neighborhood he suffers headaches and blurred vision. If you add on top of that himself being totally drained then It is pretty easy to assume that death would follow.

Well I will admit that I am “up my ass” in regards to the PS3 in a lot of cases, but not Sony. And any “bias” I have against said system I would like to think roots from first hand knowledge with said system. I mean I’ve bought like 4 or 5 PS2s. So I hardly think that I qualify for having blind anger against Sony itself.
And hey, maybe down the road I’ll buy a PSP. Mind you not for the actual games for it. But rather to use in conjunction with the PSN marketplace and to try all of those neat little hacks I’ve seen floating around for it. But as for it’s “library”, ugh, no.

A friend of mine bought a PSP to strictly hack it, and to tell you its pretty neat what he has on it. The last time I remember he had a SNES emulator with well over a 100 games and was planning on getting a few other home brew software on it.
@infrared: MGS4 was about the most boring game I’ve ever played. It sucked as a movie, it sucked as a game. However mgs on the xbox is a major blow to the sony side of this “war” and let’s face, it might be the final straw.

The PSP Go could be successful for people like me who do not own PSPs and have no intention of buying straight UMD games. I had my brother’s fat PSP hacked maybe 4 days after he had it. The Go is just trying to grab the customers who would have otherwise never bought a PSP. Existing PSP owners would most likely have no interest (unless they are retarded fanboys who get a hard-on from anything with the Sony name on it).
And do go talking about how the new motion controller is ripping off the Wiimote. Microsoft’s Natal is a ripoff of the Wiimote plus the EyeToy that came out like 5 years ago. Microsoft is guilty of copying just as bad as Sony is. Sony’s demo just wasn’t nearly as impressive.

How Did anything I post lean toward me being a fanboy?
I love the Metal Gear series to death, and its the reason I bought my PS3… But from my standpoint as far as the PS3 being a game console I don’t see how anybody could consider it even close to wining this generation. I own about 30+ 360 games, and about less then 10 PS3 games. Most of which I got for the PS3 just so I have a larger collection for the system.
By no means am I saying the “PS3 sucks”, but strictly from a video game standpoint,the PS3 is having a very difficult time competing. Every E3 Sony is loosing there major exclusives, and for a gamer, that lowers the reason to own a PS3 over the 360.
Don’t get me wrong, both Sony and Microsoft had great E3 showings. In general I would say Sony “won”. But that’s only because Sony is showing 3 systems, vs Microsoft showing 1. Now as far as Microsoft vs. just the PS3 portion of E3, hands down I say Microsoft won. (considering the entire E3 show for Microsoft was about the 360).
But relisticaly both showed the same amoung of games, and that number is 11.

Metal Gear: Rising doesn’t appeal to me because MGS doesn’t appeal to me. I’ve never liked the Splinter Cell series though frankly I’ve never tried them. Joy Ride might be fun, Shadow Complex looks like a decent XBLA title. I got sick of Left 4 Dead after about two hours so L4D2 doesn’t interest me.
I hate MMOs so FFXIV is right out, I don’t think The Last Guardian interests me but that may change. I’ve only played Gran Turismo 3 from that series and didn’t like it – I don’t care how pretty it looks if the gameplay is dull. I’m against racing and fighting games in general because it’s just the same shit over and over again. Keep that shit in the arcades.
To me, both Sony and Microsoft put up outstanding press conferences.

But there IS a significant difference between just moving just your arms around and moving arms, legs, head, feet, etc around isn’t there?
The PS3′s motion sensor can only work on a singular axis. But the Natal can use many parts of your body as many different axises.

But as a PS3 owner I can say that in my experience, no it not awesome, and very few of it’s games are either.
And lastly, the PS3′s online service is kinda shoddy in my opinion in comparison to the 360′s. And I would gladly pay for a PS3 online subscription if it meant that they were going to bring things up to par with the 360.
Actually, I am biased, the POS3 sucks, except for movies. I own LBP, Star Wars Unleashed (gift, else I would own it for 360) and Drakes. Other than that and MAG (If they can really pull off 256 in the real world), not much else for POS3. And Live has been and always will be better than PSN.

Sorry, no. If you watch again it is basing all of it’s movements on the axis of that little white ball only. Beyond that there is no other tracking to be seen.

That just being ignorant, while I do perfer XBL over PSN, to say it hasen’t improved is just fucking stupid. Its like saying that NXE isn’t a big improvement since LIVE first started over the xbox. Believe it or not, PSN does do some things that I actually wish that XBL would do, like being able to pay for something without having to pay for a predetermined amount of points or go to the store to buy a card. Also the sorting method is still alot better on PSN over XBL and maybe MS should look into that more as well.
Put it this way PSN still has ALOT of room to grow and maybe someday it will be comparable to XBL, but to say it hasen’t improved at all is being a fucking tool..

The way it works is this, the minimum is $5 and will be added to your wallet to purchase something that is $4.99 or under. Now if it is over $5, then it will just be charged to your card (if you have given it). Or you can add a different amount that you wish to your “wallet”.

I’ve had my PS3 since October and I’ve been buying games on the PSN ever since..I’ve never had to deal with the $5 increments…it was just straight dollar value and it’s great. I wish MS/Nintendo would do the same thing.

not played, but watched over a bud’s shoulder and it looks frankly fantastic.
The control scheme is incredibly intuitive (again, from watching gameplay). The carnage is amazing (it’s an M-rated game for a reason), and – it has two types of orbs to collect, which to me is videogame crack.
I’m not one to often buy full-priced new games, but Prototype will eventually be a must-buy for me.
i plan to get ahold of that game soon as i get my ps3

Played Prototype on my 360 and infamous on POS3. Infamous was OK but how much can you do with electricity? Boring after a while. Grade: 6.
Prototype was much moreinteresting since you had more than electricity to play with. Very good game … but, the “platforming” via Spiderman-like jumping and climbing, gets tedious! Grade: 8.
Next will be Ghostbusters. Heard the version on the POS3 is pants! Same ol’ same ol’! Will play the definitive version first: Xbox 360.

Infrared: I would try the demo for KZ2 if I had a ps3. Due to a lack of ps3 I went to a friends place to download said demo and he just refused to waste limited bandwidth (yay belgium) on this game. He had played kz1 and there was no way in living hell he’s ever taint his brain with more of that shit.
So yea, I haven’t played the game. However I read reviews, previews, user comments and watch videos. They all repulsed me, on top of the bad heritage. Common sense (buy some at your local mall) dictates I won’t like this game, so WHY WOULD I EVEN BOTHER?

Let me break it down for ya, I love my PS3, its a fantastic system in its own right (just like the 360 and the Wii) and personally from a GAMER and not a “fanboy” point of few, you cannot go wrong with any of the consoles this generation.
But back to the PS3, I love it, but I hate the decisions and the stupid remarks by the higher ups for Sony. They (sony) just wastes every damn oppertunity they have to put it out above the 360 and the Wii, then they go to the whole “10 year life cycle” bs to justify the PS3s price, online, development for games and etc. Sorry but that shit isn’t flying anymore with publishers anymore (the price anyways) they got games to sell and sony with there ignorance in what consumers want (and how the economy is going) are blowing there chances every single step of the way.
So if Kaz Hirai, Howard Stringer, and that fatass (the one that gave sonys keynote at E3 this year). Want to be smart, then they would shut there mouths for a second, listen to what the people want from them, and stop thinking that there at the top of the charts because there are not (and never have I ever heard of a company thats actually content on being in 3rd place).

I own a PS3 and I still don’t think that it’s “awesome”. I mean a few publishers have managed to put out a few good titles. But still nothing that makes up for the console’s price. And even though it is more than many consumers are willing to pay (taking into account that for the extra hundred or more it doesn’t really offer anything over the 360) they are still losing money on every console!
But I think I might have lost my point in all of that. So to bring things back around: You can’t assume that if Marnick owned a PS3 that he would like it. I own a PS3 and I really still don’t have a positive opinion of it.

It was am after thought for the games. It was always about bluray first.

But to cherry pick a bit, lets discuss the death scene in Killzone 2. That really had to be the least impacting death scene I’ve ever witnessed, or at least in the top ten.

But with Gordan is really is up to you if you want to inject as much or little personality into your character. To me Gordan is just the physical thing you see only on the cover the box and on the menu select screen for HL1. Otherwise you never see Gordans face again in the entire game, and hell he doesn’t even speak for that matter. As with Gordan, you play as Gordan, but you don’t control Gordan (as in that you control Duke Nukem in Duke Nukem 3d.)
But enough of that shit, yeah looking back, KZ2 does have a wasted story (much like the Halo series), and really I couldn’t give a shit who died in that game. But I did have a helluva good time shooting the shit out of everyone I saw, but the way the levels where they could have gone in any order and the story still would have sucked. So hopefully the 3rd game actually has a rich story, but I will doubt it.

Sorry that my take on Freeman is a little over your head and hard make clear on where I’m coming from.
So hear I go, Gordan is just a “placeholder art” so that you have a idea on what you look like in the HL games. While the HL games are set on a linear path that has the same outcome no matter what happens, it really depends on how much you really want to invest yourself into the fiction of the game. If you just want to blast shit, thats cool. If you wanna blast shit and find out what happened, thats equally cool. But if you want to blast shit, find out what happened, and invest yourself in learning the personalities of the NPCs and how they react to your actions, thats cool as well.
But to sum it up, you’re Gordan Freeman and its up to the player on how much they want to invest into the game.
So when do you wanna talk about how Shadow of the Colossus is still way ahead of its time and why it should get a PS3 graphical facelift.

I wouldn’t really consider Valve to be a lazy developer by any stretch of the imagination. Level design, set pieces (and how they can have you be looking in the right spot for something to grab you eye), character development (as in Alyx, Barney, and others) are all there. Sure there definition of “episodic content” is a bit fucked, but to make you the silent antagonist was there best move.
As far as Killzone 2 characters, or as I like to call them “meathead motherfuckers that you see any most FPS”, there standard fare. But yes I can look into a game a bit more in depth in one regard, and still have fun with a game with Killzone 2. There is enough room for the artsy fartsy games to exist as well as the balls out action/FPS in the world.

If you can find Shadow of the Colossus yet then I suggest you pick it up (and if you can find Ico get that too). But be aware that SotC is basically “boss fights” for the entire game, but besides that its a beautifully crafted game that should be played.

At best I would call Gordan an unobtrusive-nobody. Designed as such to not have anything extra to interfere with the world they design in a way toxic to the narrative.
But to say that Gordan’s personality is the players personality is really REALLY giving Valve far too much credit.
This works to a degree in games such as Fallout 3 or Oblivion. But even then it is really hard to have a player personality driven character.

But to Valves credit, there games never make or cram the story down your throat. Sure you’re given objectives and sent into the proper direction, but really you can find out whats happening by using the environment or pressing on the conversations untill they repeat.
As far as the personality thing goes, its completely up to the player in how much they want to feel for the other characters or events into the world if at all. But in all aspects, Gordan is just the “face” of the Half-Life games but its you the player that are the star of the game (in a narrative sense).
You are right that on a personality driven characters in Fallout and Oblivion working to a degree. If I’m thinking what your thinking then we are definitly headed into some very interesting conversation.

Now the real question is can MS sell the 360 Elite against the evenly priced PS3? Sure both will offer 120GB HDD, but if Sony doesn’t mess this up it could take a chunk out MS this holiday season. Right now the ball is in Sonys hands and what the HAVE to do is work on getting the word out about the price drop, features, games, and why it is a better deal than the 360 in general. If they can manage to do that (or something like that) then sony might just have themselves a good holiday.

I’ve been reading the reactions all over the net about the price drop, I don’t think I have ever read so many comments about people saying they are finally gonna get one.
It really seemed like they proudly owned a 360, but deep inside kinda wanted to get back to the Playstation family, all they were waiting for was the price reduction. Sounds great to me.
Can’t wait to see what happens from here on out.

PLUS, the damage in Forza and other games like it, is unrealistic, it’s just that people like you, don’t know better.

I don’t own a 360 because I will never own more than one console (I cannot make myself dish out that much money for a hobby). I will always buy the console that has the franchises I want to play, and the PS3 happens to have them. And in this generation I have added even more franchises into my favorites list with LBP, Uncharted, Motorstorm and Resistance.
One of the biggest reasons why I own the PS3 is because PS3 exclusive, really means that.
Almost every major 360 exclusive can be played on a PC.

The only game I own for the POS3 is LBP. The only other game I am looking forward to is MAG. And that’s if they can really pull of 256 players in the real world! That would be cool. Else, it playes my bluray/dvd movies most of the time. Glad I only paid $150 for my POS3 60 Gig with PS2 compat!
POS3 price cut may be too late. Also, I would bet MS will bring Elite down to $299 and include a free WIFI dongle. That would trully end the “it may have finally begun” rant of the POS3 fanturds!

The 360 is essentially the PS2 of this generation. No matter how great the games get on the PS3 and how cheap it gets, it will most likely never top the 360. Once you get on top of the console wars, you are RARELY dethroned, even when the top dog is an inferior piece of hardware (how many people are on their ORIGINAL PS2? I am on my 2nd and I got my first one 3 years into the PS2′s lifespan)
