PS3 tops Wii and 360 in U.S. Console Sales for September

The PS3 beat Xbox 360 and Wii last month in U.S. console sales. This means the U.S. is now inline with the rest of the world where The Slim Effect™ has taken hold and the PS3 is outselling both 360 and Wii on a weekly basis. Also worth noting is even 3rd party releases like Batman: Arkham Asylum are selling better on PS3 than Xbox 360.
I am really interested in seeing how this will look for October.
Does anyone else find it hilarious that they started this graph at 350,000 instead of 0? Very misleading…Also, notice Halo: ODST outsold everything and “some random mario game” outsold EA’s flagship sports title on the PS3…and was beat by the 360 version of the same game. Hell, the PS3 only has 2 games on the top 8, yet the 360 has 4. I think they should have left that part off.

Also, #9 was Guitar Hero 5 for the 360 and #10 was Beatles Rock Band for the Wii.

Wow, you have to go down pretty low on the software sales charts to see any PS3 stuff. And even when you do, it isn’t very many.

Hmmmm could have swore that SDF said that Uncharted 2 topped Halo 3: ODST. Nice contradiction SDF, kinda funny how theres not a single PS3 exclusive on that list >:).
Next month PS3 will beat RODbox in hardware and software table.
All gamers need Uncharted 2.
And once the initial boost given by the faux price reduction of the PS3 slim, when they just needed to drop the price of their existing systems, things will go back to they were. With the PS3 movie player being dead last.
No one needs Uncharted 2.
And in the rest of the world, PS3 is already back to 2nd place. In October it will be back in third in the US.

Borderlands is pretty good. Though I really don’t like the respawn feature at all. I would rather just reload to an earlier game file rather than just dying over and over and chipping your wallet away to nothing.
To be fair even thou the PS3 has gone slim its still a piece of shit, but Uncharted 2 on the otherhand is actually VERY good and deserves to go on the top spot. But then saying that, Uncharted 2 is possibly the ONLY good game on the PS3 that would actually sell so it should go on the top spot.
Not very good for the PS3 considering the PS2 was an awesome console with awesome games, and the PS3 after pretty much 3 years still aint worth buying at all and really got only 1 game thats a console seller (uncharted 2). Thats actually a shit return for something that apparenty Begins.. every week.

Even if that is true or not . It still wouldn’t show up in the September sales because uncharted 2 came out in October.
Huh, thats interesting. I count one… two… ,uhh… THREE! Three 360 3rd party titles that sold more than their PS3 counterparts! HAHAHAHAHAA! And thats only in the top 10. Of all the 3rd party titles that have come out on both machines, how many sold more on the 360? 90%? Maybe 95% of all 3rd party titles sell more on the 360? Sounds about right. SDF=FAIL. Which makes me wonder, does SDF know how to count or do they only see through their hot-pink colored Sony lenses?
