Forza 3? Oh yeah, that game that Scored higher than Gran Turismo 5 on metacritic. I really don’t think that the “last in the series” would get a score of 92.
But don’t fret. I hear that Gran Turismo 5 is very very “okay”.

I wonder if a legitimate news site ever cut up a copy of MGS4 before actually putting it in the system and playing it.
After going to the actual youtube video, how do we know this is an xbox fanatic? There is no sound and the description says “a crazy japanese gamer cut forza 3 disc and manual”. That it. And the guy CLEARLY hasn’t played the game yet since we watch him unseal the game. If anything, this guy is a PS3 fanatic and with all his great fanboy prowess and mothers money, buys a copy of the game (in Europe since it’s not out in the states yes) and cuts it up. Move along people. Nothing to see here.

That’s indeed a japanese copy of Forza 3. The age rating symbol gives it clearly. I’m not surprised to see this. The 360 it’s a heavily hated system in Japan since the Tales of Vesperia and the Star Ocean 4’s fiascos: touting as ‘exclusives’ two games that some time later appear on another console with extra content.
I’ve been to Japan recently and I can say that the Xbox 360 demo stands were largely ignored. Nobody was caring about Halo 3 ODST, Forza 3 or Dream C Club. Instead, all passers were glued to the PS3 demo units playing the Final Fantasy XIII videos.
The guy in this video could be the same that destroyed and burnt his 360 copy of Tales of Vesperia the day he learned it will come on PS3 with an extra character, among other things.
And a copy of Forza 3 at 6000 yen it’s not ‘hard earned money’ in Japan. That’s small change for them, regardless of their age or income. And I’m not even sure homeless guys couldn’t afford this either…

And regardless of whether he destroys or plays the game, Microsoft gets the money anyways. So Microsoft gets paid, and all this guy gets is a broken ass copy of a game that has trounced Gran Turismo 5 in the metacritic scores.
To sum it up, Microsoft gets paid, we laugh at him, and he gets nothing. See who wins in that equation? I’ll give you a hint, not him.
And other than this video has SDF been able to come up with any more “backlash”? One fool on youtube does not equate backlash.

The ONLY thing he did was (without saying it) is this, “Please make another one, since I gave you my money.”
Do you honestly think for one moment MS, Sony, or Nintendo cares what you do or don’t do to there products after you purchase them? No they don’t, they got your money and thats what matters to them.
Sure the developers of the games can listen to there fans and address the problems with it and maybe even patch that particular game. But don’t think for one moment they aren’t doing this for only shits and giggles, its a business and its about making money.

How has it trounced Gran turismo 5 if it ain’t even out yet? and a 92 from forza 3? i expected more .it just has five 100 . Well don’t expect it to win any Game of the year or any other 360 exclusive.

I was referring to the metacritic scores for the two games. Forza 3 got a 92, and Gran Turismo 5 got an 80.
You mean gran turismo 5 : prologue [Scored a 80] which its just a taste of gran turismo 5. Just a demo. Just like gran turismo 4 : prologue that scored a 70 and then the real game came out which was gran turismo 4 which scored a 89 [huge difference] So if GT5:P scored a 80. I expect GT5 to score at least a 90.
If SDF considers one video to be “backlash” which will cause this to be the last Forza game, then I wonder what they think about the rather numerous amounts of videos of people destroying PS3s.

Why the hell are we looking at Amazon charts? They are updated hourly and mean that moment, it was outselling, not overall.
That’s like when movie TV spots are like “[movie-x] is the number one movie in America!”. They don’t mean ever, just out of all the movies it’s competing against that day, it’s the top selling. Now imagine changing that to only one specific theater instead of nationwide and that’s how legitimate that link is.
Yaaaay! Forza is awesome. I just spent $19k to buy my own RL car (Mazda3) and dumped $25k to make it destroy a Mustang. I miss you, simulation racing game…
