Buyer beware.

  1. Always been the case. Shoddy hardware.

4 years later they finally get built in wifi and make the xbox stop sounding like a jet engine.

    @ohwow

of course it will scratch your dics, if you move the fucking console with a game in it and its reading it at the same time.

try it with the PS3 or Wii and see what happens after words

  4. First off, there is no “Xbox slim”. Secondly, what the fuck dumb assed, retard Sony fanboy is chucking around their system when the disc is in motion. I know you ADHD riddles spazes have a hard time controlling yourselves. But when the disc is doing the spinney thing playing toss the console is a no-no.

  5. Hey guys! I was throwing my DVD player up against the wall and now the disc won’t play no more. Now I’ll never know if Big Bird escapes from that circus and makes it back to Sesame Street!

  6. It may not be as easy to scratch a disc doing that with the PS3 or the Wii because they are slot loaders, but it CAN be done. This will happen to pretty much any optical media device that uses a tray loading mechanism. Centripetal force can make a disc wobble when spinning a millimeter above the plastic tray. When this happens, you get scratched discs.

  7. Much harder to achieve with a PS3 as it doesn’t STILL use a 90′s disc tray.

  8. Its pretty hard to scratch a disc with the 360 if you have even a couple of firing brain cells left. Though I can see why ohwow would have a problem in that matter. I don’t make a habit of tossing around my 360 while playing it you see.

  9. Nobody does.

It’s just if something happened by accident your disc gets fried whereas it doesn’t on other systems.

Like I said, shoddy hardware. But that’s always been the case with the Xbox 360. Nothing new.

  10. I’ll be sure not to “accidentally” pick up my console while it’s on and shake it around then.

My PS3 on the other hand won’t scratch discs on the fact that no discs are ever put into it and it isn’t ever turned on. The heavy layer of dust probably isn’t healthy. But I couldn’t care less if that thing breaks.

  11. Pity, you’re really missing out.

    Fanboys.. what can you do.

    @ohwow

Thats right, the PS3 can never do any wrong at anytime. As a matter a fact explain why one of my co-workers (who is a sony and apple fanboy) has got a borked PS3 with a copy of MW2 stuck inside of it?!?

  13. …how the hell did he manage that?

  14. @ohwow

    “Pity, you’re really missing out.”

Missing out? I beg to differ. For the PS3 I have played such games as MGS4, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Killzone, InFamous, Little Big Planet, and Demon’s Souls. And I didn’t like a single damn one of them. And none of them made me want to make me turn on my PS3 on a regular basis. So how exactly does one “miss out” if they actually HAVE given something a try?

  15. Damn you have a shit taste in games bro.

What do you like? generic crap like Halo and Gears of War?

  16. @ohwow

Actually no. Halo and Gears of War are an overrated crap stain on an otherwise great library.

But you haven’t answered my question on just how or what I am “missing out” on as far as it comes to letting my PS3 sit unused for months at a time. That is while bearing in mind that I have played a tremendous amount of the system’s supposedly high rated games.

  17. And they are great games, I enjoyed every one you listen except Killzone 2.

It’s not my fault you don’t like games.

  18. So because I don’t like the PS3 games I mentioned that means I don’t like any games at all? How does that work?

And while you are explaining how a hating a handful of crap games from the PS3 means that I somehow don’t like any games you can still answer my previous question. What exactly am I missing out on if I’ve tried a great deal of the crap library of the PS3 and still hated it?

  19. How would someone who hates games have around 2-3 a day on the 360, about 4 or so hours a week on the PS2, and around another 4 hours on PC games. How would that make sense for someone who hates games?

  20. Hating on great games purely for the sake of hating.

You’d enjoy them if they were on PS3 or 360, your irrational hatred is hilarious.

    You are pathetic.

  21. I hate them because I hate them. Now stop evading the question. Once again, just what am I missing out on if I have played all of those supposedly high rated games just what am I missing out on?

And my hatred is quite rational. What is in question is whether or not your like for the PS3 is rational.

  22. “I hate them because I’ve never played them”

  23. Now you aren’t paying attention. I have played them, that is the point. Now you are further evading the question by willingly ignoring that fact. So I’m just going to assume that if you can’t back up your statement that I’m somehow missing something, then you have recanted that statement.

  24. You haven’t played them because there is massive variety in the titles you listed and you hate every single one?

Your pointless hatred of the PS3 gets in the way of you enjoying quality games bro.

  25. Yes, I hate every single one. But I fail to see how hating them is somehow evidence that I’ve never played them. That doesn’t make even a little bit of sense.

My hatred of the PS3 is protecting me from becoming some mindless Sony drone who likes games “cause of the high-blu-defs”, which fairly much sums up the entirety of games such as Uncharted 2.

I honestly couldn’t think of one positive thing to say about Uncharted 2 after playing it. Do you expect me to make something up? Is that what you want?

But to make things easier for you here is a list of games that I hate for the PS3:

  26. >I honestly couldn’t think of one positive thing to say about Uncharted 2 after playing it.

    You amuse me. Carry on.

I’m fully aware that you’re a troll but this is too funny.

  27. Did you want me to lie and make something nice to say about Uncharted 2? Would that be rational to do? To like something but not be able to explain why? Where is the rationale in that?

  28. Put a little more effort in son.

    You’re still an amatuer

  29. So you do want me to make something up. Very well.

Uncharted 2 is a great game because of it’s excellent weapon and item crafting system. Combined with it’s deep hex-grid turn based gameplay it deserves it’s position at Spike TV’s game of the year.

There you go, total bullshit. But hey, at least I’m saying something positive about it, even though there is nothing positive to say.

  30. Pity you’re the only one that thinks that.

I have to go now, gonna have to wait a while to get some more human interaction.

  31. Pity? I’m glad I’m not one amongst the swarms of Sony fantards. I mean if you are okay with them making you get a second job while they give you a $600 anal raping, then go for it. But don’t be surprised if not everyone goes for that.

I do notice that you keep evading questions. For the record I’m still looking for:

    1. What exactly am I missing out on if I’ve tried all that supposedly high rated garbage.

    2. Are you looking for me to pretend to like PS3 games and make up things about them to back up the fake like?
