There simply are no words.
Not only is this the best looking but it’s also the best moving FPS ever conceived.
It borders on photorealism thanks to the power of the super computer on a chip – CELL.

Respected gaming website Kikizo has managed to land themselves a preview of Guerrilla’s upcoming masterpiece Killzone 2.
Here’s just some of the things they had to say:
…in motion, first-hand, this is a visual DEMON of graphical prowess.
The only real-time thing we’ve seen with our own eyes that comes close graphically is Rage, (and yes, we’ve seen everything from Fallout 3 to Halo 3
Killzone 2 takes Rage on PS3 to school right now in terms of overall visual impact.
there is 30fps, and there is Killzone 2 30fps. This engine pulls of a motion blur effect that is lovelier than you ever have seen. I was previously a 60fps whore, but in motion this game shows that with the right technique 30fps games can look basically as awesome.
No doubt XFans who’ve seen neither RAGE, COD4 or Killzone 2 first hand will chime in with their ‘thoughts’ on the matter. But that’s to be expected.
There you have it guys – impressions from an unbiased site confirm Killzone 2 is the best looking console FPS bar none.

As if this wasn’t readily apparent from the travesty that is the big budget Halo 3, Guerilla have weighed in on how underpowered and underfeatured XBox 360:
To make it simple, the Xbox 360 doesn’t have SixAxis or Blu-ray. PlayStation 3 does. And for us that’s a really big thing. The level you’ve just seen is 2GB. We really need Blu-ray to make the game. I don’t know how you could fit it on Xbox 360 without taking some shortcuts.”
And there’s more
“We are taking huge advantage of the architecture of PS3. I firmly believe that what we’ve shown we can get out of that machine would be difficult, if not impossible, to deliver on a competing machine.”
